Like seriously, all you're missing is a motor cycle and an Ambulance, though I think swapping Groove out for a bulldozer would be a good idea. Combiner Wars swapped him with a Swat truck after all |

Transformers Marathon II; Rescue Bots: Aww, no love for Defensor
Fun fact, was going to do a Rescue Heroes joke until I saw that one of them was Blades.

Transformers Marathon II; Robots in Disguise 2015: They really should stop using that subtitle
Whereas Transformers Prime was a combination of Animated and
Bayformers, Robots in Disguise 2015, its direct sequel, was a combination of
Prime and Rescue Bots (next week). Doing this one early as I have been keeping
up with RID 2015, so unlike Rescue Bots, it’s the perfect thing to review while
I’m at the Tech Games Fest during this week. So with that out of the way…

Transformers Marathon II; Transforms Animated: CHINS!!!
And now to jump back to a post Bayformers era. The 2007 movie has just come out, a new cartoon comes with it. Compared to the 2007 movie, this is far more kid friendly, and panders a lot to old school fans. How well does it pull it off though? Also, I hope you like chins.

Transformers Marathon II; Robots in Disguise 2001: That was a drastic jump
EDIT: It should be brought up that, during the time this was being aired (encase 2001 wasn't a give away) aspects of the show was censored upon western release due to the terrorist attacks on 9/11, leading to confusing plot threads later on in the series. I did not bring it up in the main review because... I never got up to that point as I couldn't bring myself to get up to that point.
Behold, the series right before when I started, Robots in Disguise (for the purposes of this I'll be referring to it as RiD 2001 as they reuse the name for another show which is getting a revisit this marathon along with several toylines and I already used my "no not that one" joke and I'd rather not reuse it yet), and this was a pretty big jump from Beast Machines and then the jump to Armada was just as big. But to give you the heads up now, the only reason the jump was big was because the pit that RiD 2001 is in. I've seen talk of this being a filler show between Beast Machines and Armada, and if that's true, it shows.

Transformers Marathon II; Beast Machines: Troop builder drones, everywhere!
What do you do after an initial toyline, repaints of said toyline with new figures made around ridiculous gimmicks and then a line of animals to robots? Apparently you make vehicles with faces and give the animals to the Borg where they nerf transformers? Um... Okay then... Let's see where this goes.

Transformers Marathon II; TF Beast Wars: People say this looks prime... why?
Welcome to the second Transformers Marathon, with the subtitle of Revenge of the Bay. But because I can't put the whole title into a tweet along with the link for the site, Transformers Marathon II in the title it is. While the first marathon primarily focused on the origins of the franchise, what I personally grew up with and the live action incarnations. This time it'll be focusing on what I never got into, in terms of the shows, and post bayformers shows... I kinda ran out of movies (to my knowledge). Six shows are up this time, the Japanese exclusives are for another time. Beast Wars, Beast Machines. Robots in Disguise 2001, Animated, Rescue Bots, and Robots in Disguise 2015. Some of these are going to be more Opening Impressions rather then reviews mostly just due to time, I am still working on the trailer after all. One of them being what's up first, the Beast wars. Time to find out what the whole Team Monkey> Truck thing is all about. Oh and as a side note, I've got nothing to say on the recent things happening in the IDW comics, so don't ask for my opinion on Onslaught x Blast Off.

Spaceballs:... I genuinly can't come up with something to say here
The short version of this review could be summed up to that as well. I'll try to go into detail, but its the main reason why I don't really watch spoof movies. Let's see how well this goes, Spaceballs.

Star Wars Episode VI; Return of the Jedi, dumb characters, and a dumb plan
This week, we bring this marathon to a close. Two more movies left, as we come to the end of the original trilogy. When we last left our heroes, things had fallen apart, so now, it's time to put everything back together. Time to see the grand Return of the Jedi.

Star Wars Episode V; The Empire Strikes Back: Time to spoil the spoiler I and the internet already spoiled
So now we come to Episode 5. We're almost at the end of this. But first, we must come to the movie that, to my knowledge, is one of the most spoiled movies of all time. Chances are if you haven't seen this movie, you know what happens in it. So let's get to it, shall we?

Star Wars; Episode IV: A new hope for an end of the awful exposition
We're here, the original Trilogy, and I do mean it this time, although I could easily do a review of Star Wars Rebels, and here I will restate that I'm reviewing the Special Editions, and will do a retake review of the originals when I can do so legally and the majority of people can get it LEGALLY. For now, we do really have to go somewhere a long time ago, to the 70's in fact.

Star Wars; Episode 1: The Phantom Menace: Let's get these two out of the way first, shall we?
One thing I've been saying to people I know is that this month, I'm kinda setting myself up to shoot myself in the foot with this, purely because of what the subject is. Star Wars is one of the most talked about things on the internet, and most of it is aimed at how bad the prequel trilogy is and that the original trilogy is seen as a masterpiece. Do I agree with those statements? Well, you'll see by the end of the month. Now before we go into the reviews themselves, I'm going to say this here and now. I am reviewing the DVD releases that came out in 2004, which means that yes, I'll be reviewing the original trilogy based on the "Special editions". Sadly I have not seen the original edits of Episodes 4, 5 and 6, let alone own a copy of them. All three are versions I want to see someday, and I want the rumors of the movies being re released to be true, but until then, these will have to do. I will say in advance, it is really obvious what's been edited in. But before we get to that, we have these to do, so lets kick off the Star Wars Marathon with what some argue to be the worst of the movies: The Phantom Menace.

M.M.M: Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow: It's surprising how much you take maturity for granted
I said I would be covering Ultron, but those of you who have been following my content for a while would know that I don't cover films while they are at the cinema. So when I said I'd be reviewing Ultron, I wasn't talking about Age of Ultron.
For the final review of the marathon, we're going back a few years, back to 2008, back to when the Marvel Cinematic Universe had just started. And yet, we go forward, to a time when The Avengers would have been old men and women, at least they would have if it hadn't appeared. The torch has been passed on, and its time for The Next Avengers to rise.

M.M.M: Captain America: The Winter Soldier: Cut off one head, three helicarriers and impossible tech shall take its place
The conclusion of Phase 2, with the exception of one film (which I'll look at later), every Marvel movie in the MCU has been covered, so now, its time to look at the movie that is directly followed by Age of Ultron. How has the Captain been since New York?

M.M.M: Thor: The Dark World: "Ok, now you're just teasing"
Only three more films of the Marvel Movie Marathon, and in the lead up to its climax, we come to Thor's second movie. We've seen how Tony has handled almost dying, now lets see just how much damage control they had to do, Thor: The Dark World

M.M.M: Iron Man 3: Why wasn't this an Avengers movie?
So we come to the final Iron Man film so far. There are no plans for Iron Man 4 in Phase 3, the next we'll see Tony is in the third Captain America movie, but we'll get to that movie later on. For now, the Avengers have gone their separate ways, and now we see what they've been getting themselves into while they get some "down time". Let's start with Tony, shall we? Iron Man 3
Movie set in December, comes out in cinemas late April. Swing and a miss there people |

M.M.M: The Avengers: Anyone else want a drink?
Iron Man, The Hulk, Black Widdow, Nick Fury, Thor, Hawkeye, Captain America. The team is here, now its time to assemble the team. Five movies (officially) have built up to it, now lets see if the hype paid off. Avengers Assemble!

M.M.M: Captain America: The First Avenger: That is one of the strangest shaped boomerangs I've ever seen.
One last movie before The Avengers, something that this movie will remind you of before it finishes. But for this Avenger, we're going back in time. Before The Hulk was released, before most of the Avengers were born (the exception being Thor). For this tale, we need to go back to the 1940's, we need to beet up some Nazi's as we see the story of Captain America: The First Avenger.

M.M.M: Thor: "FOR ASGARD!!!"
So four of the Avengers have been established. Tony Stark, the Invincible Iron Man. Bruce Banner, also known as The Hulk, Natasha Romanov. Natalia "Natasha" Romanova: the Black Widow, and depending on how you want to look at it: Director Nick Fury. Three more are still to be introduced, however, we don't have to look far for two of them. For the Prince of Thunder's debut film has a few secrets to it, time to take a look at Thor.
Minor detour, but I swear this reminds me of most of the Ace Attorney box arts |

M.M.M: Iron Man 2: Like Father like son
The road to Avengers continues, as Iron Man gets a second movie to help lay down the ground work for his character. So what does the movie have to offer?

M.M.M: Iron Man: The first of many suits for the same occasion
For the time being, we're done with The Hulk, as we shift from brawn to brains... kinda, depending on how you look at it. The Knight: Iron Man. Seen as the first film in the MCU, it is time to see just how its faired.
