I honestly don't think you could ask for a better start of game level (not including the tutorial galaxy) for this game. A perfect way to start your adventure, and to let others know just what they're getting into.

Some might be thinking why I'm not starting with the first Lego Batman movie. Well, the reason is because... its Lego Batman 2, its the game's cutscenes edited into a movie. As to why I'm not doing the other Batman movies and TV specials first... I've been playing a fair bit of Lego Batman 3, and was just in the mood for something with Brainiac as the villain. Now as to why I'm playing Lego Batman 3 and other non Zelda or Horizon games? Future plans for Breath of the Wild, and I don't have a PS4. Onward to the review!

can you make the title?
I'm not kidding by that title, as the comparisons are pretty easy to make. Yet, there is a reason why one is a cinematic darling to the masses, and the other is a Direct to DVD special I saw in supermarkets and Target. And trust me, it shows, it really shows.

The DS Zelda games. Some like them, many hate them, due to specific mechanics. Maybe some of that is the Zelda cycle, some of it might be the way the game is structured, some of it may be the controls. It can be all of one, or it can be some of all. Personally, this was the first Zelda I had completed and the first Zelda game I ever owned. Its not the first I've ever played, that title goes to either Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask thanks to emulation (this was before I knew of and had access to the Virtual Console). I enjoyed it while I played it back then, but how well does it hold up now?

So... this week's review has tentacle monsters, clothing designs that raise more questions then answers in terms of usefulness, a tentacle monster that evolves to use a teenage girl as a energy weapon, and was made in Japan. I swear this isn't a hentai.This one was recommended to me by a store clerk when I
was picking up another Digimon game, Digimon All Star Rumble. Once I finished
with Shantae, I gave it a shot, just for a different style of RPG. And… well it
is different, at least for me, forewarn I haven’t played Atlus RPG’s so if some
of these feel tamed by comparison to it, you don’t need to bring it up, I’ve
heard. I’ll be using the PSVita version for review, and there is free DLC and
themes for the game, should you be into those.

Dragonborn. Although to be fair, The Dragonborn comes does work as a

It's time to go back to the beginning region, why? Because we got remakes of them that had new content. And sorry for taking most of January, with some exceptions, off, been trying to find a replacement job to help support this site.
While I am still hunting for work, I am at kind of a point where I can go back to working on this, although truth be told I've been back for a while, more on that in a bit. So a quick PSA before getting back into the swing of things.
First: Schedule. This Wednesday WILL be the Fire Red/Leaf Green arc review. Then next week Shantae Half Genie Hero, followed by Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth. Not sure what's going to follow after that, but those are what's coming soon.
Second: Youtube content. A video that has been posted to the Mediaholics Youtube channel that has not appeared here is a podcast concerning the Nintendo Switch. I'm not going to post that to here, as I'm trying to bring more attention to the Youtube channel, which does lead into what I've been doing on my break. Myself, Marissa, and other people have been working on what we're calling the Mediaholics Playlist. Once a day, every week day, a new video will be going live on the channel which is about what we think of as the best video game music around. It can be from any console, any genre of games, any year, the only requirement is that they had to have been in a game. They're going to be released in a random order, so they could be anything. As you're reading this, the first video has gone live onto the channel. But it won't appear here until next week.
